The long-eared owl, also known as the northern long-eared owl or, more informally, as the lesser horned owl or cat owl, is a medium-sized species of owl with an extensive breeding range. The scientific name is from Latin. The genus name Asio is a type of eared owl, and otus also refers to a small, eared owl.

Journey of The crested honey buzzard s ( Pernis ptilorhynchus ) also called as the Oriental honey buzzard as in every year this year too where seen in large numbers in the preferred migration route of Raptors   Eastern Flyway  connecting Eurasia and Africa was busy in deserts of Kuwait , below are birds spotted in on going migration to tropical Africa for European winters. majority of the these buzzards passed in pairs and within two weeks of migration favorable northern wind, then came the birds that are left behind , saw injured birds which may not successfully complete there annual journey.
